The Village of Mokena, IL is accepting proposals to supply, plant, mulch, water, and take part in guaranteeing a specific list of 122 trees in the municipal right-of - ways (parkways) in the fall of 2025. The approved planting contractor will be responsible for supplying all materials, equipment, and labor to successfully plant the trees and is required to provide a valid Department of Agriculture 2025 Nurseryman Certificate from the nursery or nurseries which provides the trees to be planted. All trees supplied shall be locally grown (within 150 miles of the corporate limits of Mokena, IL) in accordance with good horticultural practice, unless otherwise approved by the Urban Forestry Consultant, or an authorized Village representative.
