Specifications include, but are not limited to: Snow removal and deicing for the Illinois Veterans Home in Chicago, Illinois. Area includes: Approximate 3.0-acre/75,000 sq. ft to clean 2 parking lots with a circle driveway in the front of the building and the rear of the building which include a dock area, dock lift and 3 dumpsters that shall be kept cleared. Snow shall be removed when there is a snow accumulation of 2 or more inches or ice accumulation of at least an 1/8 inch or when requested by staff of the Veterans Home. Primary removal to be done between the hours of 3:00 am to 6:30 am or when accumulation reaches the levels stated above for snow and ice or within 60 minutes when requested by Veterans Home staff.
