1. Structured Cabling Installation a. Install new Cat6a UTP cabling infrastructure to support data and voice requirements. b. Provide additional data drops in: i. Classrooms (for instructional technology, instructor stations, etc.) ii. Faculty and administrative offices (for workstation and VoIP support) c. All cable runs to comply with ANSI/TIA-568 and industry best practices. d. Cables to be routed through ceiling spaces or conduits as required. e. All terminations will be clearly labeled at both the patch panel and outlet ends. 2. Wireless Access Points (WAPs) a. Install Cat6a cabling from data closets to designated WAP locations throughout the building. b. Coordinate with IT and wireless engineering teams for optimal WAP layout and coverage zones. c. WAP locations will be clearly labeled and documented on as-built drawings.
