ELISA instrument must meet the following specs Must be a fully automated ELISA system that allows for multiple assays, a minimum of 4, on a single plate. Automation of the system must allow for complete walk-away analysis of up to 384 samples (as contained on four 96-well microtitre plates). Walk away analysis requires no operator intervention after initialization of sample analysis until analysis is complete. System must be based on conventional ELISA techniques where the operating principle is based on competitive binding between enzyme labeled drug and drug in samples, controls, and calibrators. Instrument must use conventional enzyme labeling and measurement of reaction via spectrophotometric techniques. The system must include all components and accessories necessary for analysis to include all fluid handling, plate manipulation, plate washing, and spectrophotometric detector. All components must be integrated into a complete system controlled by a single software interface. System must not require the purchase of auxiliary devices to make completely functional. The system must include a laser printer capable of handling the output of the instrument. The complete system must operate on convention 120 volt alternating current typical in laboratories.
