Remove existing furnace located in the basement of the residence. Install a Highefficient power vent gas fire furnace with correct amp fuse and shut off switch located in an accessible location. The furnace must be the required BTU for the square footage of the home. A filter slot and a cover for a replacement air filter will need to be incorporated into the return side of the new unit. Inspect the gas pipe and in line shut off valve is in proper working order, any excessive rusting on the piping those sections shall be replaced. Flue will need to be glued to the new unit and appropriate hangers on all horizonal vent pipes. All duct work must be taped or sealed with paste. There old flue liner needs to have a patch sealing the flue at the chimney. Replaced the A-coil in the plenum. Some modifications maybe needed, however if a major modification is needed, leaving large holes or gaps it shall be replaced. Remove existing line-set, disconnect, and old compressor. Install new AC compressor compatible with the new furnace. Install new line-set, new disconnect with whip wired into the new compressor. Replace new pad with frost protection before installing new exterior unit. Caulk the exterior penetrations with exterior material. Lines and AC must be charged and in operational order. Install a new programable thermostat replacing existing unit. Mechanical permit is required before work begins.
