Specifications include, but are not limited to: This is a solicitation to secure services of a water treatment plant operator who possesses a minimum of a Class C Water Treatment Plant Operator License to oversee the operation and testing of the water system at the Funks Grove Rest Area Water Treatment Plant located on Interstate 55 in McLean County. The goal of this solicitation is to utilize the knowledge and expertise of the Vendor, that is lacking in the Agencys staff, to obtain supplies and services necessary to help meet the statutory responsibilities of the Agency. The resulting contract with the awarded vendor shall have an initial term of Upon Execution through June 30, 2016. In no event will the total term of the contract, including the initial term, any renewal terms, and any extensions exceed 10 years. Subject to the maximum total term limitation, the Illinois Department of Transportation has the option to renew for the following terms: A total of 2 years, one renewal period covering the entire renewal allowance.
