Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Meal Plan Services to support the Residence Hall Students (Fall Semester Rate = TBD (includes Tax)): Max. Occupancy 300, FY ’15 Occupancy Average 240, FY ’16 Projected Occupancy 250. Residence Hall students are required to purchase a Meal Plan. Board plan meals are served with seconds on the entrée items at Dinner, except for those premium items which have been designed by the University. Program should include multiple options; 19 Meal Plan (base), 15 Meal Plan, 15 Meal Plan + Flexible Dollars and 10 Meal Plan + Flex Dollars. We estimate 25% of the Residence Hall population would prefer Meal Plans with Flex Dollars. Meal Plan equivalency options must be offered at each point of sale location, including satellites. Meal Plan offerings must include provision for the three essential food groups. Nutritional Information should be available / posted on all food selections. Vendor will provide healthy choice options throughout the day (e.g. vegetarian, salad bar or prepackaged). CSU is closed 6 days throughout the school year; Thanksgiving 2 days, Christmas 2 days and New Y e a r ’ s 2 days. Vendor is expected to have hours of operation that meet campus needs during periods outside of the normal semesters. This includes both semester breaks and summer time periods. Annual Campus Thanksgiving all you can eat dinner to accommodate approximately 400 people. Vendor can anticipate annual increases in Meal Plan rates based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI)
