G.A.W.R. - Rear - 46,000 lb. minimum. Cab-to-Center of Rear Axle Dimension (C.T.): 169 or as required by the installer. Frame: Straight channel with a minimum section modulus of 20.93. Resistance to Bending Moment - 2,500,000 minimum for entire length of frame. Reinforcement - If required shall extend forward through both front spring hangers to front snowplow hitch mounting points. Front Axle & Front Suspension: Front Axle: Single I-beam type, rated at 20,000 lbs. minimum. Front Suspension: Parabolic taper leaf type, multi-leaf or two-stage type with a total capacity at ground of 20,000 lbs. minimum. Front suspension shall include shock absorbers. Brakes: Shall be standard manufacturers heavy-duty, full air with two reserve tanks. All dust covers to be included. Front shall be 16.5 x 6 long stroke brake chambers and rear shall be 16.5 x 7 long stroke. The effective lining area as required for GVWR and GAWR ratings Brake Accessories: Heated automatic reservoir drain valve. Automatic slack adjusters, front and rear shall be Haldex/Eaton, Gunite or IDOT approved equivalent. Air Dryer - Bendix AD-IP with heater or equal. Other makes and models may be considered but must have prior approval of IDOT. Component: Emergency Brake: Type - Air operated with cab control emergency air supply valve and remote air reservoir. Air Horn: Manufacturers standard operator controlled air horn with snow shields, if required. Note: Air horn mounting shall not interfere with the light bar mounting by the body company. Under hood mounting is acceptable.
