Specifications include, but are not limited to: Understanding the Development Process: The Consultant will be expected tohelp Former Residents understand the overall development process includingapproval process, financing, site and building design, homeownershiprequirements, affordability requirements and phasing.As part of thisunderstanding, the Consultant will be expected to provide technical information ina non-technical manner to the Former Residents Representatives.2. Outreach and Participation: The Consultant will be expected to assist the FormerResident Representatives in developing strategies and materials that can be usedto inform and engage a significant number of Former Residents in thedevelopment process.3. Participation in the Public Process: The Consultant will be expected to adviseFormer Residents Representatives how to effectively advocate their positionsduring participation in the development process; assist Former ResidentRepresentatives with preparation of written materials; review materials providedby the development team or other parties involved in the development process;and may be expected to attend SWDC-sponsored community update meetings,City agency meetings, agency reviews and public hearings
