The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”) has a verified need for a contractor to perform construction services at 536 S Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60605. This project is for an interior renovation of the 8th floor of the DEA space. Work includes removal of the ceiling and framing, demolition, and environmental remediation, finishes and MEP equipment. Work also includes provision of a security system, including camera (device) installation and card reader installation. The contract completion time for this project is one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. The
estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a negotiated, best value procurement.
The contractor is to provide all management, supervision, manpower, equipment and supplies necessary for this project. The proposed contract is being solicited as a Small Business Set Aside.
