All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: a heavy-duty one-way, full trip type snowplow for use on tandem axle trucks operated by the Department of Transportation. The snowplow assembly shall be constructed using U.S. Domestic steel. A copy of Certification of Compliance shall be included with snowplows delivered to each location. The Certification shall verify the steel origin and tensile strength. Moldboard is to have a minimum intake height 26” with a discharge height of approximately 57”. Shall be 1/2" wide A36 steel, cut as a single piece. Splicing of pieces to form the rib is not acceptable. The base of the rib shall taper from 4” to approximately 2” at the upper reinforcement. The radius of the rib must be uninterrupted. The four center ribs at the bottom angle shall be reinforced to provide a 1-1/2" bearing thickness for connection at the push frame lugs.
