Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of services under this engagement shall include: Support UI Health System leadership in the development of a comprehensive 3-5 year strategic plan and the design and implementation of an operational performance structure that will improve sustained organizational performance as aligned with the plan. Working with leadership, professional providers, and staff, develop processes, systems and tools that serve to optimize the management of clinical assets (personnel, technology, equipment, etc.) to improve patient care delivery (efficiency, safety, satisfaction) and overall organizational performance and productivity (e.g., capacity management). This would be expected to include work flow analysis, patient care (re-)design, workforce assessment (right job, right place, right time), etc. Support the development of comprehensive workforce planning, optimization, and evaluation processes to ensure that employees have the skills and critical aptitude for continuous change and process improvement. Provide detailed consulting services and health system expertise (including industry-wide best practices) toward the long-term, sustainable implementation of comprehensive business processes and tool-sets (e.g., operating reports, performance evaluation methodologies) and execution of continuous improvement methods (i.e. lean, change acceleration process) designed to deliver high impact and sustainable performance improvement across UIHHSS. The services outlined above will result in the achievement of the following objectives: 1. Organizational Assessment: Conduct "current state" performance and readiness assessment (financial, operational, cultural, clinical). This assessment should include, but not limited to a comprehensive understanding of high impact opportunities, organizational readiness assessment (financial, operational, clinical), and targeted recommendations in alignment with future state vision and goal of realizing an enterprise-wide, 3-5 year transformation and identify high impact opportunities associated with an enterprise-wide, 3-5 year "transformation" that positions UIHHSS as a high performing organization in patient care delivery and experience, financial results, and clinical integration.
