The proposed bike path improvement includes a 10’-0” wide HMA bicycle path that will replace the existing sidewalk along the east side of Meacham Road from Higgins Road to American Lane and along the north side of Golf Road from Meacham Road to Roosevelt Boulevard. Existing traffic signal refuge islands are also being reconstruction to meet the bike path requirements. This project will consist of sidewalk removal, PCC Sidewalk and HMA Path construction, pedestrian traffic signal modernization, pedestrian safety enhancements, driveway removal and replacement, thermoplastic pavement markings, sodding, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans and described herein.
