The work consists of full removal of the existing concrete structure over Nippersink Creek (SN 056-3126). The removal includes the superstructure, substructure, piers, and abutments. In addition, the existing roadway pavement east and west of the structure is to be removed. The proposed improvement consists of replacing the structure (SN 056-9104), and reconstructing the roadway east and west of the structure. The profile of the structure as well as the adjacent roadway will be increased in elevation. Also included in the scope of work is the installation of guardrail, driveway modifications, roadside ditch grading, compensatory storage, pavement markings, landscaping, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvements as shown in the plans and described herein.
