The District is soliciting Request for Qualifications from qualified, experienced, and licensed park, natural resources and open space planners, researchers, landscape architects, wildlife refuge plan writers, recreation consultants and other professional firms to provide professional services, including development, distribution and analysis of a community-wide needs assessment for establishing the Forward to 2040 with a Vision to 2071 Plan, a Comprehensive Conservation Plan (the “Plan”). The Plan will serve as a strategic guide for the District through 2040, grounded in current needs and emerging trends, while also establishing a long-term vision to 2071, the District’s centennial. The plan will reflect a commitment to ecological health, community access, outdoor equity, and sustainable growth.
