- Reviewing the current configuration of the Nexus 9508. o 9508 contains two modules each has 48 SFP ports that are 10G capable. - Design configuration for new Catalyst 9500s. - Develop migration plan from existing to new hardware. - Implementation of configuration on replacement 9500 switches. - Reviewing the current VTP domain configuration on a standalone switch serving as the VTP server. o Migration of VTP services from standalone switch to new 9500 switches. - Transitioning Layer 2 and Layer 3 services—including spanning-tree root, EIGRP, and BGP routing configurations—to the new core switches - Testing and validating the new switching configuration JJC will physically install 9500 switches into our Data Center Rack and will perform the migration of existing physical connections.
