. Centralia Correctional Center is seeking certified vendors with experience and expertise to provide services for the semi-annual inspections and testing of the facility’s fire suppression kitchen hood systems. This contract also includes any repairs and maintenance deemed necessary by said inspections and/or facility Chief Engineer. SUPPLIES AND/OR SERVICES REQUIRED: Vendor shall perform mandatory inspections, testing, and repair and maintenance (as needed) to Centralia Correctional Center’s fire suppression hood systems as outlined in this contract. Vendor shall supply all labor, equipment, tools, and materials to complete inspections and testing of the sprinklers and hood fire suppression systems located at Centralia Correctional Center. The inspection frequency shall be Semi-Annually. Vendor shall perform inspections and testing of Centralia Correctional Center’s four (4) fire suppression hood systems semi-annually. The following is a list of the Facility’s current hood systems: Three (3) Ansul - Model R-102 - 1 Cylinder - 3 Fuse Links – These are located in the main kitchen and in the commercial cooking classroom. One (1) Range Guard – Model RG-6G – 1 Cylinder – 3 Fuse Links – This is located in the commercial cooking classroom. Vendor shall inspect and test the following semi-annually, if applicable: Ensure system is installed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, with proper separation between fryers and flame, proper clearance from the flame to the filters, and the system is in proper working order in accordance with NFPA standards. All appliances, ducts, and plenum are properly covered with correct nozzles, and nozzles are covered, clean, and in the proper operating positions. Replace nozzle caps, if necessary. Ensure hood and duct penetrations are sealed and all seals are intact. Inspect the link line and position of all detectors. Inspect the automatic actuation of the fire system by cutting a terminal test link. Test remote pull stations. Verify electric and gas shuts off when system is activated. Replace fusible links as needed. Ensure pressure gauges are in proper range.
