Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bids shall include labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services for completion of the entire Project under a single MECHANICAL Construction Contract. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists generally of, but not limited to: replacement of existing steam boilers with new, gas fired, hot water boilers. New hot water supply and return piping will be routed throughout the building to serve terminal heating units (primarily new). Existing ceilings will be partially removed/reinstalled as required to install new above-ceiling hot water piping mains. As indicated on the plans, some existing ceilings will be demolished and replaced with new ceilings. In addition, new flooring and ceilings will be required in areas where existing flooring and ceilings have been demolished by others. New lighting will be required in areas of new ceilings. Asbestos materials abatement will occur through-out the School, under separate Contract, to facilitate the Work under the Heating Conversion Contract
