Specifications include, but are not limited to: Activities in the proposal may include, but are not limited to: Boat, Canoe, Kayak, and Equipment rentals Instructional Boating classes Paddle boat rentals Minor retail sales 1.) Rental prices (canoes, kayaks and boats) charged by the Concessionaire must be consistent with Exhibit A as prescribed by District Ordinance 7-1-1. In addition, the District will accept proposals for the rental of other recreational equipment and for programs and events reasonably related to the main business and uses of the District Waterways. The Concessionaire shall charge fair and reasonable prices for goods sold and for all services provided at the District Waterways. Such prices shall not exceed those agreed to between the Concessionaire and the District. 2.) Proposals must outline the services to be offered and the number of anticipated employees to operate each of the District Waterways. 3.) If food, beverage, and retail concession products will be sold, Concessionaire must include a sample menu and products list with prices. 4.) If a Concessionaire desires to make capital improvements to the District Waterways as part of its Proposal, an alternative Proposal should be submitted. The Concessionaire should submit one Proposal without such improvements and an alternate Proposal indicating the desired improvements. Any and all capital improvements will be at the expense of the selected Concessionaire. 5.) Concessionaire agrees to furnish all other equipment, boats, utensils, supplies, etc. necessary to provide Boat Concession Services at the District Waterways. 6.) The Concessionaire shall operate, at its own expense, the District Waterways in a clean and sanitary manner. 7.) All employees, officers, agents, and subcontractors of the Concessionaire shall be neatly attired in uniforms that properly identify them as official Concessionaire personnel. The design of such uniforms shall be subject to the prior approval of the District. All uniforms worn shall be maintained in a neat and clean manner. Concessionaire staff must also have a name tag identifying the employee by name and position title.
