Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Elgin requests proposals for citywide Collision Repair. This proposal process and award of the contract are made in conformance with Elgin Municipal Code Title 5. The City of Elgin reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or any part thereof, or to accept any proposal or any part thereof, or to waive informalities in any proposal, if deemed to be in the best interest of the City. 1) Provide onsite estimates within one business day of notification. 2) Provide pick up and drop off service to various city facilities. 3) Has the ability to sand blast and paint any city owned equipment. 4) Offers laser frame measuring, frame straightening and alignments. 5) Offers a lifetime warranty on workmanship, parts and labor. 6)Offers drive in service for emergency vehicles (police cars) where vehicles are assessed within 1 hour. 7)Has ability to service all makes and models of city equipment including snowplow truck, trailers, and fire equipment. 8)Provides body work services on all types of material including but not limited to steel, fiberglass, and aluminum
