1. Preconstruction • Assist the Village and Architect to develop the scope of the project • Assist the Village and Architect with preparing Project and construction estimates and budgets, including the GMP. • Assist the Village and Architect with preparing a Project schedule • Assist the Village with plans for the relocation of Village Fire Department staff during demolition and construction • Review the design documents for clarity, consistency, constructability, coordination and consistency with the scope of the Project • Provide value engineering during the design phase • Coordinate transmittal of documents to regulatory agencies for review and approval • Establish bidding procedures in conjunction with the Village and Architect • Establish scope of work bid packages for bidding • Publication of notice for pre-qualification of contractors, and assist with prequalifying contractors and maintaining a current list of prequalified contractors
