Vendor is required to update Printed by Authority…” language. Sample: Hard copies of the book can be furnished upon request, or the vendor may access the study guide by going to Illinois CDL Study Guide (ilsos.gov) Proofs: Two copies of Match Print color proofs for all cover pages and two sets of good quality body text proofs after the award are to be sent to: SOS Graphic Arts, 319 N Klein Street, Springfield, IL 62702. Electronic proofs are acceptable Ink: Body – Black ink is to be used throughout with no bleeds. Cover: Four-color process plus varnish, with full bleeds on both sides. Stock: Body – 30 lb, 100% recycled newsprint. Please list the brand of paper you propose to furnish. Cover – 10 Pt. Springhill C2S Cover or equivalent. Vendor is to submit a sample of the proposed stock after contract award. The decision of ILSOS is final. Binding: Perfect bound T3S on 10-3/4” measure. Covers must be securely attached and must not pop off. Packing: The study guides must be packed 30 manuals to a carton of at lease 275 lb. test cardboard. Each carton must not exceed 20 lbs. each. The cartons must be furnished by the vendor, sealed and taped, and printed on one side, the contents of the box (CDL Study Guide, Form # DSD 10.28 and quantity per box). Cartons are to be shipped on sturdy, standard, 3 board 40” x 48” skids or pallets and secured by shrink wrapping. Skids may not exceed 52” in height. No double stacking of pallets. Over/Underruns: No overruns will be allowed. A 2% underrun would be accepted, but ILSOS will only pay for copies received.
