Cahokia School District has 6 Elementary Schools, 1 Middle School, 1 High School, 1 Maintenance/Custodial Building, 1 Transportation Building, and 1 Administrative Service Building-Board Building. Cahokia School District 187 currently has 3,200 students enrolled PreK-12th grade and 545 employees. Employee vending machines should be supplied in lounges or work areas for all buildings in the district. Cahokia School District 187 participates in National School Lunch Program and follows USDA and Illinois State Board of Education’s guidance for selling food and beverages. Beverages must be smart snack complaint. Service Service frequencies must be consistent and timely based on need and District requests, and shall be increased when volume warrants. District reserves the right to adjust the number of machines in operation and service times. All machines must be kept clean and painted on the exterior and properly sanitized on the interior. Inspection the District shall, upon request, have the opportunity to inspect the exterior, interior and operating mechanisms of all machines with a representative of the vendor. Maintenance The vendor will provide maintenance and repair procedures to minimize malfunction and will maintain the equipment in an excellent state. Each machine must have day and night trouble call numbers prominently displayed. All trouble calls should be handled within time periods acceptable to the District. Trained maintenance specialists will handle repair calls promptly Theft and Damage The vendor will be responsible for all theft or damage to machines. The District will make every effort to assist in solving cases of theft or damage. Under no circumstances will the District be held responsible for damage.
