Specifications include, but are not limited to: An internet service provider/s (ISPs) to provide information on their interest in partnering with the County as a last-mile service provider or to provide operational management network services. The County recognizes that there is a significant gap in service in the rural areas of the County. The County also recognizes that the federal funding related to ARPA and IIJA represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to give residents the high-speed broadband access that is paramount to participating in the modern economy, education, and medical care. The County has engaged HR Green Inc to do a preliminary design and cost estimate of a County-wide middlemile system. The County wishes to garner information from Respondents on their interest in managing, maintaining, and leasing conduit, dark fiber, or any other proposed arrangement based on the County’s preliminary design.
