The Illinois Tollway is seeking vendor to supply Bituminous Hot Mix and Bituminous Pre-Mix, commonly known as Cold Mix, to each of our maintenance locations (See Exhibit 1 for locaƟons). Bids are accepted per location. You are not required to bid on all locations, but when bidding on a locaƟon you must bid on all items in that location to be found responsive.The Illinois Tollway requires an IDOT-approved “N70” 9.5mm surface mix meeting the requirements of Tollway Asphalt Mixtures Special Provisions (Appendix C), Tollway Reclaimed Asphalt Materials Special Provisions (Appendix D), and IDOT Standard Specification Section 1030 for Bituminous Hot Mix (Appendix B). For Bituminous Pre-Mix, the Tollway requires a Proprietary Bituminous Pre-mix meeƟng the M120-16 specificaƟon found in the IDOT Materials “M” Specifications.
