The scope of Work includes, but is not limited to replacing chain link fencing and removal and replacement of a double tennis court located in Beau Bien Park, Lisle, IL. The District has one (1) park site with two (2) tennis courts in need of repair. This site is Beau Bien Park. Contractors shall visit each site and be aware of the conditions and work for which they are bidding. If the contractor notes anything not listed in the specifications that, in their best judgment, will need to be performed for satisfactory completion of the work, it is the responsibility of the contractor to point this out to the Superintendent of Parks before the bid is submitted. Beau Bien Park See attached sheet for site map and notes. Demolition 1. All existing chain link fencing and fence post footings to be removed and disposed of at an appropriate disposal site. 2. Remove the entire existing asphalt surface and dispose of material at an appropriate disposal site. Materlals 1. This work includes sub surface preparation, hot mix asphalt (HMA) paving, net post and fence installation, and the acrylic color system applications for new tennis courts. Surfacing shall conform to the guidelines of the ASBA. (American Sports Builders Association). 2. MATERIAL HANDLING AND STORAGE - Store materials in accordance with manufactures specifications and MSDS, All surfacing material shall be non-flammable. NO MATERIAL STORED ON SITE during the duration of the project unless fully secured with fencing. 3. GUARANTEE - Provide guarantee against defects in the materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of substantial completion unless otherwise stated. 4.
