The Authority requires Banking Services for its accounts related to the business at the McCormick Place Campus facilities. These services include accounts for MPEA to manage the convention center, Wintrust Arena, and the Energy Center with a third-party manager of the food service operations at McCormick Place and Wintrust Arena. The current food service provider is OVG Hospitality (“Food Service Manager”). MPEA serves as the primary account administrator for these accounts and is the day-to-day account manager for these services. SP Plus Corporation (the “SP Plus”) manages the Authority’s parking operations. SP Plus serves as the online account administrator for its accounts and manages the day-to-day activities for these accounts. MPEA also has separate accounts for the operation of the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place and the Marriott Marquis Chicago. The Hotel Managers serve as the online account administrators for these accounts and the Hotel Managers have responsibilities for day-to-day operation and management. While SP Plus, Hyatt Corporation and Marriott International serve as online administrators for these accounts, MPEA has signatory oversight over all of these accounts and the accounts are all registered in MPEA’s Tax ID number. The Authority’s CEO and CFO are the only parties with signatory authority to make changes to these accounts. The Authority’s requirements for Banking Services are identified below and described in further detail in Section III of this RFP.
