The contract work consists of furnishing and placing material at all locations of utility cuts and pavement repairs. Patching will be at various locations throughout the City of Rockford on an as needed basis for the City of Rockford Water Division. Locations will be determined by the City of Rockford’s Water Division based on water main breaks or any other related work to Water Division utilities, including but not limited to water main, services, hydrants, valves, shut off boxes, etc. and storm sewers. The amount of pavement at each location requiring replacement shall be determined in the field by a representative from the Water Division based on the extent of repairs to the water utilities. These items will be for unscheduled repairs (emergency repairs) and non-emergency repairs on an as needed basis for the City of Rockford. This Contract will consist of mostly unscheduled repairs, but may include scheduled repairs periodically at the direction of the City of Rockford Water Division. The contract period shall be from date of award through May 28, 2027. The City of Rockford reserves the right to extend this Contract in one-year increments for four (4) additional years by mutual consent of both the City and the Contractor.
