Specifications include, but are not limited to:CHAIN LINK AND GATE / ORNAMENTAL FENCE AND GATE Chain link fences All chain link wire shall be black vinyl coated 8ga finish-9ga core fused and bonded. The framework shall be SS40 black vinyl coated steel. The top rail shall be 1 5/8” OD, line posts 2” OD set at 10’ center or less and terminal posts are to be 3” OD. Siding gate post 4” OD. All fittings shall be galvanized vinyl coated. The west 14’ exit gate shall be a cantilever slide gate 6’ high aluminum enclosed Elite Zip Track or equivalent. A Liftmaster CS6L24V 110 volt w/battery backup or equivalent electric gate operator shall be installed and operational. Also included in this work shall be the installation of conduit and wiring to the proposed gate from the existing building (Ideal Printing). At the exit gate a safety and free exit loop detector and a safety photo eye are to be installed as well as a safety gate edge. The gate shall have a keyed weatherproof shut off switch allowing the gate to remain open. Ornamental fence All ornamental fence shall be galvanized steel and Elite or equivalent gates. Both fence and gate shall be black vinyl coated. The east side fence is to be a 72” ornamental spear point ¾” pickets with 2 ½” line posts, commercial grade 4” or less picket spacing with 6’ or 8’ spacing. A 14’ cantilever slide gate, Elite Zip Track or equivalent shall be installed as shown on the plans. Also included in this work shall be the installation of a safety loop detector, safety photo eye, electrical conduit and wire from the adjacent building, a Liftmaster CS6L24V 110 V/with battery backup or equivalent, concrete work and other work related items to complete the project. The 42” pedestrian gate will have a hydraulic closer, mag latch, (card reader furnished and installed by the County), free exit push button with momentary delay and low voltage transformer. The pedestrian gate shall have a battery backup. Both gates shall have a keyed weatherproof shut off switch allowing the gate to remain open. Access control security system shall be in accordance with city and state code and the manufacturer requirements, as shown in the plans and as directed by the Engineer.
