The selected vendor will be responsible for: Providing 24/7 emergency medical response and ambulance transport services to Southwestern Sangamon County (the Sangamon County portion of the Virden Fire Protection District; a map of the service area is available upon request). Maintaining appropriate staffing, vehicles, and medical equipment to respond to emergency calls efficiently. Meeting or exceeding applicable federal, state, and local EMS regulations and protocols. Cooperating with local fire departments, first responders, and other emergency services. Submitting periodic reports to Sangamon County, including: o Number and nature of calls for service o Response times o Patient outcomes (where appropriate) o Billing summaries (if requested)
