This work shall be furnished and installed in accordance with the detail shown in the plans and per the City of Rockford Water Division Specifications, Illinois Plumbing code, 2014 Edition, Illinois Department of Public Health Standards, and the requirements of the Engineer. The City is reserving a cash allowance to be used as authorized by the City or Engineer for combining existing separated domestic and fire services into one combined water service entering the commercial building and being split inside the building. The contractor awarded the project will have to inspect and provide individual quotes for each building as determined by the City during construction. The City and Engineer will review the individual quotes, scope of work for each building, and determine if the work is feasible within the cash allowance allotment.
