1) Furnish & Install Foundation Wall Anchor System (Lump Sum) – Furnish and install a foundation wall anchor system to brace 3 concrete basement walls of the home at 4103 Arundel Place. The walls requiring bracing are indicated on the attached Figure 1. The contractor shall install ground bolt style wall anchors to stabilize lateral foundation deformations and prevent collapse. The wall anchor system shall consist of interior wall plates, exterior soil anchors, connecting steel rods, and associated hardware to tie back the bowing basement walls. Approximately 141 linear feet of wall will require bracing. The wall height is approximately 8 feet, 8 inches measured from the concrete floor slab to the top of wall. The contractor shall install either a pre-engineered system according to the manufacturer design specifications or supply engineering calculations showing adequacy for any non-pre-engineered system.
