Specifications include, but are not limited to:Respondent shall advise the CDA in the area of airport security access control, employee background checks, security compliance and provide a variety of other security/related services that includes, but is not limited to the following: III. General Scope of Services: Selected Respondent shall provide technical, operational, and specialized administrative expertise and support to the CDA. On a routine basis, this support will be focused on matters pertaining to the use, management and development of its Access Control, Security Compliance and ID Badging database systems at O’Hare and Midway International Airports (collectively, “Airports”; singularly, “Airport”). The Respondent shall also be fully prepared, to provide in-depth knowledge and expertise and support in matters of emergent security concern, including (though not necessarily limited to) current/latest new developments and techniques in: Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) rules, policy, law and legislation Threats to US aviation and airports Airport security, public safety, and law enforcement solutions and technology Specific support required in these areas will generally include expert advice, reports, and special projects, but will be defined if/as needed by CDA, in response to emergent airport security, public safety, and law enforcement requirements. Respondent shall also provide specific advisory and support services to Access control, ID Badging, Compliance and pin code portions of ISSOCCS, consistent with the Detailed Scope of Services set forth below. IV. Detailed Scope of Services: The following is a list of services that Respondent shall provide to the CDA. Services are organized into functional areas, and described below, as follows: A. General Security Advisory Services: Respondent is responsible for advising the CDA and other City Consultants involved in maintaining the integrity of the Airport Security program on policies and best practices.
