Vendor to provide beer dispensing services at three (3) beer tents, the Village of Cultures, and Reisch Pavilion at the Illinois State Fair. This will be a concession contract allowed under Illinois Procurement Code (30 ILCS 500/53-10) and awarded to the highest bidder with the best return to the State. The Illinois State Fair (ISF) occurs every August for eleven (11) consecutive days drawing attendees from all over the United States. Attendance has historically been estimated as high as 96,000 per day depending on weather, concerts, and activities occurring during the Fair. The identified venues during the Illinois State Fair are open from 10:00am to Midnight, all 11-days of the Fair. All of the venues identified in this contract contain a stage, which offers musical and variety entertainment daily. As in most outdoor venues, the volume of beer sales is highly dependent on attendance and weather. ISF does not track sales figures for previous years.
