TRACTION/CABLE ELEVATORS: The vendor will regularly and systematically examine, clean, adjust and lubricate as required, and if conditions warrant, repair and or replace the following to include but not limited to: Elevator Machine - including worm and gear, thrust bearings, drive sheave, drive sheave shaft bearing; brake including brake pulley, brake coil, brake contact, linings, and component parts. Motor and Motor Generator - including auxiliary rotating systems, (tachometer, regulators and the like) motor windings, rotating elements, commutator, brushes, brush holders and bearings. Governor - including governor sheave and shaft assembly, bearings, contacts, and jaws. All Idler Sheaves - including deflector or secondary, car and counterweight, compensation, and related bearings; governor tension assemblies. Controller and Various Relay Panels - including all relays, contactors, solid state components, resistors, condensers, transformers, contacts, shunts, mechanical or electrical timing devices, computer devices. Selectors - including selector drive (tape, wire, or cable) and all mechanical and electrical drive components. Hoist way Door Interlocks - or locks and contacts, hoist way door hangers and tracks, bottom door guides and auxiliary door closing devices, hoist way limit switches. Guide Shoes - including rollers or gibs or replaceable liners. Buffers-including Spring or oil; switches seals and packing. Automatic Power Operated Door Operator - door protective devices, car door hanger, track, threshold, and car door contact; load weighing equipment; car frame, car safety mechanism, platform, tile floor covering in the elevator car. All necessary repairs to doors and gates. Fixtures - car and hall button stations, master indicator and control panels, all signal fixtures including contacts, buttons, key switches and locks, lamps and sockets, position, and direction indicators. Repair and replace the conductor traveling cables and the elevator control wiring in the hoist way and machine room. Replace all wire hoist ropes as often as is necessary to maintain the recommended factor of safety, equalize the tension on all hoisting ropes. Properly lubricate the guide rails as often as is necessary except where roller guides are used. Where applicable, check the group dispatching systems and make necessary tests to ensure that all circuits and time settings are properly adjusted to provide the best possible overall service to the limitations of the equipment.
