Base Bid Work – The abatement contractor is responsible for providing labor, materials and disposal for the removal of asbestos containing materials in order to renovate the building as follows:1. All freezer cork insulation with asbestos containing mastic on walls and ceilings2. All asbestos containing transite sheeting Abatement contractor is responsible for the demolition of materials in order to access the asbestos containing materials. All materials demolished in order to access asbestos shall be disposed of asbestos containing materials. Abatement Contractor is responsible for contracting with an electrical contractor for the hookup of temporary power. Abatement Contractor is to supply all water for the work as water is shut off to the building. Work is to be performed utilizing methods following all IDPH, EPA and OSHA rules and regulations.
