The services/tasks including, but not limited to, the following will need to be performed/provided. Respondents shall include any additional tasks required for the completion of the requested services and shall identify the additional tasks by bolding and italicizing them in their Proposal(s). 1. Review of Bidding/Contract Documents, Engineering Drawings, and Work Sites to familiarize the full time Resident Engineer with the Contract Work and identify any project errors, omissions, constraints, improvements; 2. Conduct Pre-Construction Meeting with Contractor and other Project Stakeholders; 3. Develop and distribute Project Notifications (letters to impacted residents, businesses, schools, refuse and delivery companies, etcetera); 4. Review of all submittals to ensure conformance with the requirements set forth in the Contract Documents and Engineering Drawings; 5. Review of Pre-Construction Videos to ensure project site conditions have been adequately documented prior to the start of construction; 6. Permit Coordination (Limited for this project - Glen Ellyn Stormwater Certification and Building Permit); 7. Maintain Daily Project Diary, Daily Inspection Reports, Field Books, Quantity Books, Weekly Reports and all other Pertinent Records; 8. Verify Construction Layout Performed by Contractor; 9. Construction Inspection of all Contract Work to ensure improvements are constructed safely with minimal impact on the public and in accordance with the project drawings and specifications; 10. Utility Coordination (Nicor, ComEd, AT&T, Comcast, etc.). No conflicts identified for this project through the JULIE design process.; 11. Performance of Quality Assurance Material Testing in conformance with IDOT requirements for QC/QA Material Testing (Provide QA Proposal); 12. Assisting with handling of all issues associated with the off-site disposal of all excavated material (CCDD, special waste, etc.); 13. Witnessing Sub-Grade Proof-Rolling and Recommending Undercutting Depths; 14. Answering of questions and resolving issues and concerns from impacted property owners; 15. Contract Administration/Documentation; 16. Ensure that Construction Completion Schedule is adhered to; 17. Conduct Weekly Progress Meetings; 18. Provide Weekly Progress Updates to Village Staff and Contractor via BC239; 19. Quantity Measurement (including cross-sections); 20. Review/Process Contractor Progress Pay Requests (review schedule submittal, waivers of lien, sworn statements and certified payroll records and have contractor revise documents as necessary) and provide Village Staff with a Recommendation for Payment; 21. Develop and Process Change Orders as necessary including Final Balancing Change Order; 22. Develop and ensure completion of “Punch List”; 23. Provide one (1) electronic copy of the As-Built Topographical Survey and Engineering Drawings Detailing the “As-Built” Conditions; 24. Completion of a Warranty Inspection to identify and direct Contractor to address any issues that arise during warranty period (up to 1 year beyond date of final payment to Contractor).
