The selected contractor will be responsible for the following: 1. Structural Repair and Restoration: o Repair and stabilize the existing limestone and earthen water feature structure to prevent further erosion. o Replace broken or missing stones; additional matching limestone (2’ x 3’ x 1’) may be added with prior WPD approval. o Ensure the structural configuration distributes 75% of pumped water to the east pond and 25% to the west pond to restore intended flow patterns. 2. Pond Liner Installation: o Remove old liners and replace with new liners in the four small, irregularly shaped raised pools (approximate sizes: 90 sf, 50 sf, 40 sf, 30 sf). o Install black AquaArmor RPEL-30 liners or approved equivalent. o Ensure all liner penetrations (e.g., for Flowforms nozzles) are properly sealed. 3. Feature Component Replacement: o Replace Flowforms nozzles, ensuring proper alignment and waterproof sealing. o Remove existing light fixtures currently utilizing white bulbs and install approved, compatible replacement fixtures. All new fixtures must be equipped with a remotecontrolled timer for automated operation. 4. Site Protection and Restoration: o The work area (approximately 1,000 square feet) is accessible via a paved golf cart path; contractor is responsible for protecting and restoring any damaged pavement. o Turf disturbance is to be minimized; restoration of turf areas will be handled by Wheeling Park District. 5. Water Management: o Contractor may pump down adjoining and structure ponds as needed to facilitate access and complete the scope of work.
