Description

The City of Peoria is looking for a firm to conduct a Smart Tree Inventory for an estimated 20,000-25.000 trees within the public right-of-way of approximately 480 street miles. A Smart Tree Inventory uses advanced technology like LiDar, high-resolution cameras, and machine learning to collect detailed data and a comprehensive digital record of our urban forest, followed by a complete assessment of that data by certified arborists. This will establish a baseline of where we currently stand, as well as guide future budgeting, planning, and workload management.

RFP SUBMISSION INFORMATION - There are two (2) options for RFP submittal.
1)Hardcopy Option - Sealed bids – one (1) original and three (3) copies – will be accepted by the City of Peoria at the Peoria City Hall – Purchasing Division: 419 Fulton St. RM 108, Peoria, IL 61602, until 2:00 p.m. on July 22, 2025. Bids shall be mailed/dropped off in a sealed envelope or package with the bid title and bid number marked on the outside. Please include your company name and return address on the outside of the envelope.
2)Electronic Option - Bids can also be submitted electronically through BidNet. Only one copy is needed. Please see Electronic Bid Submission Guidelines attached separately for additional information and instructions.

Bids received after the stated date and time will not be considered. Faxed bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly recorded immediately following the closing time set for the receipt of bids.
