Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Remove the existing concrete and asphalt per the limits shown on the construction plans. Saw cutting will be necessary to establish neat lines between the proposed section and the existing pavements. The existing landscape vegetation and soil will also need to be removed to the depth of the new subbase. The subgrade needs to be evaluated for excessive soft spots. B. The contractor will then place the subbase and base material. Care will need to be taken to limit driving on the subgrade. After the base material is placed where the proposed curbing and sidewalk will be placed, the concrete can be placed. Upon completion of the concrete, and after grading the 3/4“base material, the asphalt patch back pavement can be placed. C. The landscaping improvements will need to be made to match into the new concrete. This will include adding, and adjusting the sod to match in to the proposed curbing and sidewalk, and adjusting the sprinklers in accordance with the added and adjusted sod. D. Stripe Pavement as shown on the construction plan. E. Place the four (4) HC signs to mark the Handicap stalls that will be created as part of the project.
