Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Snowplows must meet or exceed the minimum specifications provided in Attachment 1, Specifications and be the latest model of the manufacturer's current standard production, as offered to commercial trade. Though they are not specifically covered herein, all parts necessary to provide a complete and functional Snowplows must be included. All parts must conform in design, strength, quality of materials, and workmanship to current engineering practices and accepted standards of the industry. The Snowplows must be complete when delivered to ITD with all accessories and equipment in place or furnished. All equipment and accessories must be installed as per the manufacturer’s specifications, and the units must be serviced and ready for continuous operation or installation at the time of delivery. The Contractor must furnish two (2) product manuals for the Snowplow at the time of delivery for the location stated in Section 4. Manuals must include, but is not limited to the components and parts, and exploded view drawings with both parts identification and parts list. Product manuals must be in either paper (book) form or electronic format (CD or USB). All welds must be full seam. Welding performed on the Snowplows must be in compliance with current American Welding Society (AWS) procedures and guidelines recognized within the state of manufacture. All hardware and fasteners must be electronically plated and corrosion resistant. All fasteners must be Grade 8, both cap screw and nut. All nuts must be nylon-insert, hex, Grade 8. Cutting edges are NOT required. ITD will furnish and install cutting edges after delivery. Contractor must provide caution labels, decals, and any warnings deemed necessary by ITD or the manufacture. Paints and primers used must be 100% lead and chromate free. Safety Data Sheets (SDS) on products used must be made available to ITD upon request. All visible finishes must be smooth, shiny, and free of runs, overspray, weld spatter, and other defects.
