Participating agencies collectively require an estimated 4–8 million rounds annually across all calibers, with peak demand during training cycles (typically spring/summer). 9mm Luger variants comprise approximately 60–70% of total volume, followed by .223/5.56 (20–30%). Specific proportions and historical data will be discussed during strategy sessions. Vendors are invited to comment on how the solicitation can be structured to align with these goals while meeting industry capabilities and encouraging broad participation.
