Unless determined otherwise for a specific project, the Contractor must translate written documents into Latin American Spanish (the Contractor may be asked on occasion to translate documents from Spanish to English.) The Contractor must provide individuals possessing the appropriate certifications, qualifications, knowledge and skills for the requested translation services. The Contractor must consider cultural relevancy of a particular document. Translation must be faithful to the message and unless determined otherwise at a sixth (6th) grade reading level. B. The Contractor must provide translated written material based on the English word count when translating to Latin American Spanish, and on the Spanish word count when translating to English. When a word count is not available, an agreed upon estimate must be used. Translation must include corrections and or editing if, when proofread, corrections and or revisions become necessary.
