Specifications include, but are not limited to:The City of Boise has authorized a project between the City of Boise Department of Art and History (A&H) and two of the city's neighborhood associations to collect, detail and d o c u m e n t t h e " H i s t o r y o f P r e s i d e n t F r a n k l i n D e l a n o R o o s e v e l t ’ s v i s i t t o B o i s e i n 1 9 3 7 . ” W i t h a maximum budget of $12,000, the project is envisioned to complete research, identify any new m a t e r i a l s a n d p r o d u c e a n a r r a t i v e a n d d r a f t t e x t f o r s i g n a g e t o m a r k l o c a t i o n s a l o n g t h e p r e s i d e n t ’ s route through Boise. The City hopes to receive new information from residents on unique Boise experiences of the visit. The historical research and narrative is expected to integrate the president’s visit within the local and national context of the period
