Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The Contractor Must: 1. Clean, repair, and calibrate (with label) and certify the pipettes described in Attachment A - Pipette Inventory. a. The Contractor must provide a Certificate of Pipette Calibration for each pipette serviced. See Attachment B – Pipette Calibration Certificates for example. 2. Adjust the pipettes to manufacturer or Department tolerances/settings using standards traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The Department will request service as follows; a. Level 1 Service must include Preventive Maintenance and posting “As Found/As Left” data on the certificate of calibration. b. Level 2 Service must include Preventive Maintenance and posting “As Left” data on the certificate of calibration. 3. Provide one (1) full, onsite service and repair visit per year on the pipettes including, but not limited to, the two hundred sixteen (216) pipettes listed in Attachment A – Pipette Inventory a. The Department’s pipette inventory includes approximately one hundred ninetyseven (197) single channel and nineteen (19) multi-channel pipettes. b. The service must be performed during normal working hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MT, Monday through Friday), government holidays excepted. i. The Department and Contractor may mutually agree to ship the pipettes to the Contractor’s facility for services.
