Drawings – Each Snowplow (including push frame and related components) must be constructed in accordance with Exhibit 1 – Drawings for One (1) and Two (2) Way Snowplows. Material – All material must be American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) A-thirty-six (A-36) steel unless otherwise specified. Moldboard – Continuous, smooth-rolled or broken section type, ten (10)-gauge steel with a yield point of fifty thousand (50,000) pounds per square inch (PSI) and tensile strength of sixty-five thousand (65,000) PSI. Moldboard blanks must be constructed from either a seamless ninety-six (96)-inch, ten (10)-gauge single sheet or a maximum of two (2) pieces of steel seamed to form a single sheet from which moldboard blanks must be cut. Each blank must have no more than one (1) seam per moldboard section. Broken section type moldboard not to exceed a one (1) inch center-to-center spacing between breaks on smaller end of mold board sheet. Blade Punching – Standard American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) punching on twelve (12)-inch centers as shown in attached drawings must accept three (3) four (4)-foot blades. Cutting edges are not required as part of this ITB. Welding – All welds must be full seam and must conform to American Welding Society (AWS)and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards.
