Specifications include, but are not limited to: The NC Zoological Park is seeking a qualified consultant to conduct a feasibility study of three major additions to the current zoological facility.These include a third 'continent', an associated and compatible further destination attraction (or attractions) on adjacent land to the Zoo andvisitor services facilities to possibly include accommodations/ conference center, retail and recreational facilities. The chosen contractor willhave national and international experience of conducting similar evaluations relating to major zoos, museums, aquariums or other suchfacilities of the status and standards recognized in the NC Zoo. The report from this consultant must be capable of withstanding unassailablecritical analysis from a variety of potential funding sources including State Government, major donors and commercial partners. The successfulofferor will be required to show a minimum of three examples of studies involving such major institutions where their recommendations havebeen put into effect and where the institution has successfully achieved the desired objectives.
