Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lawn Maintenance: Lawn mowing (Mowing) must be performed one (1) time per week, from approximately April 1 to October 31 each year, depending on lawn growth and weather conditions.; Mowing must be as close as possible to all fences, curbs, walls, or other fixed objects.; Grass must be cut at a uniform height, not scalped, and not to exceed four (4) inches across the entire lawn.; Grass must be trimmed around sprinkler heads, trees, shrub trunks, and landscaped beds. Contractor may elect to utilize the tool of their choice in order to trim the lawn.; Edging must be performed one (1) time per week with each mowing cycle, or as needed.; Mechanically edge grass along or around all walkways, curbs, ramps, embankments, obstructions, light poles, fencing, signs, trash receptacles, benches, and landscaped beds.; Litter, clippings, leaves, and debris must be removed one (1) time per week with each mowing cycle. This includes paper, wrappers, cans, bottles, building material, cigarette butts found on the grounds, leaves, and all clippings as a result of the Landscaping Services performed by the Contractor.; Landscape Bed Maintenance: Landscape beds must be inspected one (1) time per week, from approximately April 1 to October 31 each year.; Planting bed areas and plants must be kept in a healthy condition to include removal of all weeds, diseased plants, and insect control. Chemicals are authorized (see Section G for additional details).; Ground covers must be edged and trimmed so that they remain within the area defined by the landscape edging.; Shrubs must be trimmed and shaped according to natural characteristics and standard cultural practices specific to each species. Selectively thin and tip back annually to encourage branching and vigor.; Tree Maintenance: Trees must be inspected one (1) time per week, from approximately April 1 to October 31 each year.; Trimmed as needed to remove dead growth or as directed by IDFG. Tree canopy must be kept above pedestrians and vehicles. Contractor must notify IDFG prior to trimming any trees and must have written authorization by IDFG before any trimming takes place. Tree trimming above fifteen (15) feet will not be the responsibility of the Contractor.; Maintain and replace broken plant stakes, ties, and bent stakes as needed or as directed by IDFG. If ties are too tight, they must be replaced or adjusted.; The Contractor is responsible for any damage to trees or plant materials caused by chafing or breakage of foliage or limbs coming in contact with stakes or ties.; Snow Removal & Deicing: Contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials, to plow snow and deice IDFG’s parking lot as further detailed below. Approximate timeframe will be from November 1 to March 31 each year.; Snow plowing area includes all parking areas, road ways, drive ways, fire lanes, fire hydrant access, and pedestrian paths and sidewalks. This includes the fenced in section of the south side of the property.; When snow accumulation is two (2) or more inches, the Contractor must plow all snow from the designated areas and move the snow into the approved piling areas on site. IDFG will not provide a notification to the Contractor; the Contractor is responsible for monitoring conditions and arriving on site without notification.; Plowing must be complete by 6:00 am mountain time on any day of the week where there are two (2) or more inches of snow accumulation.; In the event the Contractor completes the initial plowing service of the property, and the snow re-accumulates two (2) or more inches, the Contractor must drive the property and re-plow any areas where snow has accumulated that makes the property not accessible to vehicles.
