The services consist of daily services, weekly services, monthly services, quarterly (every 3 months) services, semi-annual services and annual services; along with special scheduled services as described in the specifications. All services in the specifications include all areas in the building, unless specifically noted otherwise. All work that is scheduled for the semi-annual period must be serviced the initial time during the first one hundred twenty (120) days of the Contract. All general cleaning must be performed by a “Night Time Janitorial Staff” and after normal State of Idaho business hours, (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MT, Monday through Friday, except State holidays defined as: https://idaho.gov/government/state-holidays/) unless alternate hours are mutually agreed upon for identified tasks. Deficiencies will be addressed by Facilities Services Manager or designee and must be corrected by 10 am the following business day, no exceptions. Facilities Services Manager or designee may withhold payment on monthly invoices until deficiencies are corrected to Facilities Services satisfaction. The Contractor must have a minimum of one (1) employee on site trained in blood borne pathogen clean up, and furnish and maintain clean up kits. Cleaning Services: Daily The Contractor must perform the following services at least daily: Empty all interior and exterior wastebaskets, and trash receptacles to the dumpster located outside of the Facilities. Clean wastebasket receptacles and replace plastic liners when needed. Empty and clean all exterior ash trays/urns. Clean all interior and exterior entrance lobby and interior glass doors, windows, window frames, side lights and glass partitions. All must be free from handprints, dust, debris, smudges, streaks or spots. Clean doorknobs, wall switches, wall scuff marks on walls, doors, door frames, and baseboard as needed. Vacuum all carpeted areas, including hallways/corridors, walk off mats, and elevator carpet. Vacuum conference rooms as required by usage. Spot vacuum as needed throughout office areas, moving chairs and moveable furniture when necessary. Spot extraction clean soiled carpet immediately when found. Care must be taken to not over wet carpet and cause brown spots. Dust surfaces (less than 70 inches in height), blinds, ledges, corners and recesses. Only exposed/cleared areas of desks, tables or shelf surfaces are to be cleaned. Janitorial personnel are NOT to clear or move desk items. At no time shall computer equipment be cleaned or moved to accommodate cleaning. Shelves with items such as knick-knacks or other personal items are NOT to be touched. The person responsible for those items are responsible for cleaning those shelves. Clean, sanitize and polish all drinking fountains, removing all water stains, fingerprints and mineral deposits. Clean and sanitize all break room tables, countertops and sinks. Refill paper towel and soap dispensers as required.
