The 366 Contracting Squadron (366 CONS) of the 366 Fighter Wing (366 FW) is conducting market research to determine the availability, interest, and capability of potential business sources qualified and able to compete for a contract to provide a In Flight Monitoring at Mountain Home AFB, ID 83648. Please review the requirement description below.
The In-flight monitoring is expected to monitor pilot biometrics and cabin altitude in order to protect and give early warnings to pilots.

The NAICS code for this requirement is 315990, “Apparel Accessories and Other Apparel Manufacturing” The Small Business Size Standard is 600 Employees.

366 CONS is interested in quantifying and pre-qualifying the likelihood of setting aside competition for this requirement at Mountain Home AFB to a small business. Depending upon the responses to this notice and other market research, 366 CONS may limit the competition to a specific socio-economic small business category at the exclusion of all other potential business concerns.
This announcement serves as the first step for 366 CONS to determine the viability of setting aside this requirement for competition solely within or among certain small businesses in selected categories. This is a Sources Sought Announcement only; no solicitation exists or is available at this time. Requests for a solicitation shall not receive a response.
